Gardening in the
Old East Village
The Old East Garden Club exists to help its members
- learn about horticulture
- share expertise
- make friends
- share resources
- work to build our terrific neighbourhood
If you live in Old East (or wish you did!) please join us. Novices and experts are
equally welcome, although we could use a few more experts :-)...
If you are a member of the
Old East Village Community Association, there is no charge to join the garden
club. We just need to make sure we have an e-mail address for you. If you're not
a member of the OEVCA, please complete a
Membership form and pay your $10 annual membership fee.
So far we have held annual well-attended plant exchange in May, at least 1 "garden
crawl" tour of members' gardens per year, one seminar on garden design, two seed
swaps and a couple of road trips.
Meetings are hosted at Lorne Ave. Public School, in the 2nd floor community room.
Please use the English St. entrance
